What is SCORE2/SCORE2-OP?

According to the European Heart Network, cardiovascular disease (CVD) causes 3.9 million deaths in Europe every year, accounting for 45% of all deaths there. If we acknowledge the risk of cardiovascular disease and prioritise early detection, we can mitigate the outcomes successfully.

SCORE2 is a risk prediction algorithm to estimate the 10-year risk of CVD, developed by the European Society of Cardiology. To evolve the MESI mTABLET system into a unique tool for predictive medical assessment, we have now integrated SCORE2 as an essential prediction model, with other predictive medical assessment tools to follow.

Using the SCORE2 feature helps the clinician to assess the patient’s CVD risk, obtain important information about the patient’s health condition, and view possible recommendations.
