Seca 125 Analytics Update
Improved Bioimpedance Formulas for Elderly Patients
We have invested significant time and resources in validating our BIA solutions to ensure accurate medical results. A recent study focused on validating the seca mBCA for aged 65 and above. We used gold standard reference methods to measure muscle mass, fat mass and other parameters of 150 healthy subjects. We also developed reference ranges based on data from about 600 healthy individuals over 65. This enhances the precision of the seca mBCA in evaluating body composition for elderly patients, providing medically validated data for diagnosis, therapy, and consultation. Our seca analytics software automatically includes these new formulas and ranges. Our study findings have been published in the Clinical Nutrition Journal and are available for free.
Two-Factor Authentication Introduced
In accordance with our unwavering dedication to secure data handling, we have introduced an optional two-factor authentication feature. This additional security layer at login will allow users to use any third-party authentication app of their choice.
For enhanced account security, we strongly recommend enabling this feature.
