Sunlight MiniOmni™ Bone Sonometer
The Sunlight MiniOmni™ provides a professional yet cost-effective solution for early osteoporosis assessment. It enables reliable, accurate, non-invasive, and safe monitoring of bone density. With its ultra-compact size, intuitive ease of use, and USB-port connectivity, the MiniOmni™ seamlessly integrates with Windows™ 10 and above PCs and laptops. It is ideal for use in physician offices, medical clinics, pharmacies, annual checkup centres, and other retail venues.
Proven accuracy: MiniOmni™ is based on Omnipath™ quantitative ultrasound technology, which detects the speed of ultrasonic waves along the axis of maximum force of the bone. This eliminates soft tissue effects, ensuring more precise results. The technology has been proven in thousands of installations worldwide.
Proven safety: non-invasive and radiation-free.
Fast results with no warm-up or calibration required. Immediate audio confirmation of correct measurement. A patient can be screened in just a few minutes. The built-in training module makes it easy and fast to learn.
Easily interpreted report in A4/letter format with multiple ethnic reference databases, including Caucasian, Asian, Chinese, North and Latin American, and European populations. The reports are clear and colour-coded for easy reading and interpretation. Patient data and measurement history are included, with gender and age (0-90 years) taken into account. WHO-compliant T-scores and Z-scores ensure accurate osteoporosis assessment.
Highly affordable with a fast return on investment. Zero operational costs—no ongoing maintenance, disposables, or calibration required.
Optional Multi-Site Licence (56805) enables measurement of multiple skeletal sites, including radius, phalanx, tibia, and metatarsal. This flexibility improves the identification of isolated points of osteoporosis and allows testing for patients where certain skeletal sites cannot be evaluated. Maximum examiner comfort with no need to bend over, maximum patient convenience as shoes can remain on, and an ideal solution for immobile patients. Each site is proven to be correlated with osteoporosis.
✅ Maximises comfort – No need to bend over
✅ Patient convenience – Shoes can stay on
